Being connected with the great Kenyan wild nature, experience the unique play of colours of dawn and dusk, listening to the voices of the wilderness, being at peace with yourself – all this and so much more is offered by Severin Safari Camp. Amidst Tsavo West National Park we have created a place that reflects the deep bond with the country like nothing else.
Apart from its scenic location, our homestay also offers a great holiday experience filled with adventure and excitement.
- Luxury Tent
All 21 octagonal tents with robust Canvas cloth are equipped with running hot and cold water, shower, separate toilet and bidet, comfortable beds with mosquito nets and private terrace with camping chairs.We will be also glad to welcome guests with walking disability. In this case we will reserve centrally located tents which can be provided with a ramp. The tents are equipped very handicapped friendly.We will advice you on the detailled measurements and possibilities and will also be glad to recommend safari operators who are attuned to guests with walking disabilities.
Each tent offers 220V electricity, a hair dryer, a safe and WIFI access free of charge.
- Junior Suite
The four stone masoned Junior Suites are equipped with a kingsize bed, a separate living room, minibar, coffee- and tea making facility, a sun deck with loungers and a private courtyard with outdoor shower.
The Junior Suites named Mzima Springs, Roaring Rocks, Chyulu Hills and Shetani Cave offer spacious and sun flooded bathrooms with two hand washing basins and are also ideal for families with two children.
- Executive Suite
The raised observation deck with sunloungers of our Kibo and Mawenzi Suites offers a wonderful view to Mt. Kilimanjaro and the wide savannah of Tsavo. The spacious suites with kingsize bed and robust tent canvas are additionally equipped with a corner bathtub and with the adjacent tent which can be booked in addition perfectly suitable for families.
When booking a Junior Suite or Executive Suite, the coffee- and tea making facility as well as the basic equipment of the minibar are included.
- Kitani Banda
The 8 Kitani Bandas are equipped with a 4,5 sqm kitchenette with a fridge, plates, pots, cutlery, glasses and cups as well as with small cookers with gas and sinks. A table and chairs are at your disposal. Additionally, there is a 5,7 sqm bathroom with towels and running hot and cold water, toilet and shower. The sleeping rooms have a size of 25 sqm and can be equipped with up to 3 beds per cottage. These are provided with duvet covers and mosquito nets. From the roofed veranda you look directly to your private fireplace and can watch the animals passing by. The perfect base to discover the breathtaking landscape and animal kingdom on your own.
Guests are allowed to use the free WIFI and the pool & gym at the nearby camp area. You will also find a private parking lot directly beside your banda as well as a room steward.The Kitani Lodge is situated about 1,5 km away from Severin Safari Camp. Amongst others you will find the reception, the Out of Africa Restaurant, the Thorn Tree Bar and the KENBALI SPA here, which all can be used – partly for a surcharge.
